Our Smoothhound rig is designed to be light enough not to spook the fish but strong enough to help you land the big girls.
Its made using 1 meter of 80lb ASSO Ultraflex rig body hand tied to a 416lb 1/0 Tronix Pro SS2 Stainless Steel Swivel. Then we have a weight slider tube and another 416lb 1/0 Tronix Pro SS2 Stainless Steel swivel. The Hook length is 1 Meter of 40lb Berkley Triilene Big game Fluorocarbon to give you better abrasion resistance and it terminates in a 3/0 Sakuma 545 Extra Hook which is perfect for Crab and Fish baits alike.
